I am planning to apply for the Langone program. I missed the September deadline for Spring 2012 as I got delayed with the GMAT. If I apply during the rolling admissions period, are my chances of acceptance lower? Does applying later in this period (Sept 15 - Dec 1st) reduce the chances further?

Hi acer_620_u,

There's actually significantly fewer apps coming in for the spring start of the Langone program, so you should still have a good chance, even if applying now during the rolling portion of the process. In fact, the Langone P/T program gets fewer apps overall than the Stern F/T program, so an application submitted at *any* time still has pretty good chances, provided that you've got decent stats (GMAT/GPA) and your essays are strong. But you have an even better chance for spring. So, you should be in good shape! You shouldn't wait too long of course - they fill the class as they process the apps, and while there are sometimes still spots available on Dec. 1, your chances are stronger if you submit earlier.

Hope this helps!

Hi acer_620_u,

Chances are stronger when applying in round 1 compared to round 2. Although that doesn't mean in round 2 people don't get selected given your application is equally strong. All the best!
