Your concentration seems to be for Entrepreneurial MBA.

After how many years do you plan to start your firm?

Which country will you look to start your firm?

For any entrepreneur looking in the software domain, I would suggest either a Top BSchool or a truly reputed program for entrepreneurship near the islands of silicon valley. It really helps in understanding the scale. So stanford, kellogg, darden etc are really worth fighting for.

A great list which I found and evaluated.

Hey there praneethreddy,

Okay so it sounds like you are ready to go! And before you do I think maybe I'll point out the tougher obstacles that you will have along your way (you probably know them, already.. but you know) First is gonna your Indian/Tech/Male background. But what can you do? Lots! Make yourself different! That's first. Second, with only two years of work experience, you are in at about two less than many schools like to see.
Soooooo, from your list, I would say MIT, Tuck, Haas and Kellogg are aspirational schools for you. HEC and NYU would be somewhere between aspirational and competitive, and CMU, Ross, ESADE you should be more competitive. Basically, you have one tough list, and no safe schools. Which if that's what you want, it totally okay. But it's good to know what you are getting into. Look into some other schools too: USC, Kelley, Georgia Tech, Mendoze, Smeal...

If you have any further questions, let us know.

Hey guys
Thanks a lot for ur replies.I have decided to go for an Masters in Information Systems Management.
Reasons being
1.I want to finish my course at the most 16-18 months
2.The fee for MISM courses are lower than MBA courses.
3.My experience of just 2 years is making it difficult for me to get into top MBA colleges, while it wont for the MISM courses.

After a brief research i could get down to
1.CMU MISM
2.University of Arizona (Eller).

I need a advices from you guys for the following

1.I would like to point out that i have done my under-graduation from Birla Institute of technology and Sciences(BITS-Pilani).It is the NO1 Private college in India. My doubt is will this help me anyway in my admission process and also will working at Oracle help??.

2.I have some knowledge on CMU that it is one among the best colleges in the world. But i have no idea about the ELLER.Though many have adviced me to apply,i want your advices before i make my decision.Does it have international recognisition. What place does its MISM course stand worldwide etc

3.I am planning to apply for around 8 colleges for MISM, what are the other colleges which you guys suggest me to apply and which i would most probably get admitted.(Considering my profile as pointed above)

Thanks a lot in advance

It will really help. But as explained, you have to use it as a point of start. They are just references and you need to build your case on top of it.

Eller is an excellent college with 100 percent placements and cheaper than any MISM. Definitely in Top 8.

I have attached an XL for you to use.

I think you will appreciate this link
