Hi,
I was wondering if i could get an opinion on my profile.
Nationality: American (White)
Age: 25 yrs
Education background:
1) 1 Year at University of Idaho
2) 1 Year at University of Arizona
3) 3 Years at Boise State, receiving a BBA in Finance.
Cum GPA for all 3 schools: 3.0
GPA at Boise St: 3.4
Major GPA: 3.79
Work Exp - 40 months Will be 51 joining the Fall 2012 program
Started off at a surgical practice a year before receiving my BBA doing statistical work for a surgeon and his bariatric patients in order to comply with certain "center of excellence" standards.
After graduating, started working as the marketing manager there and helped to brand the practice once they added a new surgeon and even created the Logo.
Recently have been appointed a sort of assistant manager position where I help the office manager deal with finances, accounting ect. (a little bit of everything).
GMAT - 690 (47Q / 38V): 5.0 AWA
Intended MBA Specialization - Finance / Venture Capital / Entrepreneurship
Goals: I would really like to pivot and get a beat on what other industries might be more enjoyable to me. If i choose to stay in the health realm of things, post MBA would like to work for a bio tech firm or a bigger health related company in marketing or strategy. Otherwise, post MBA would like to start my own company and build it from the ground up.
I need a good idea of what my chances are of getting into U Texas at Austin, Washington, Arizona St, Pepperdine, Arizona, Vanderbilt.
