GMAT Score:660

GMAT score is too less for some respectable B School.
Please figure out first what can be your target school region. You wanna try for B Schools like Wharton, Ross, Darden or Mays, Smell or Sunny Buffalo, Terry.

Depends on that you can judge your profile.

But a minimum GMAT score of 640 is required for any of these B Schools.

Thanks for your response. However, as I mentioned, I am looking at JMSB ( Concordia University) and HEC Montreal. The GMAT score of 640 is for these schools?

Definitely yes.

Concordia Avg GMAT is 610 and HEC is 625.
So, 640+ is a fine score to be in hand.

But, remember that, GMAT Score is just the pass to open the door to apply in B Schools, not a pass to enter in B Schools. You application and other details must be strong enough

You could reasonably try to apply with any score that's within the average 80% of the school's accepts and have good hopes. And if you get less than what you hope/need the next time around, if now is the right time anyhow, you can apply anyways and do your best.

From Concordia's website, it says that the avg. score is 615. When you say " apply with any score that's within the avg 80% of the school's accepts, can you be more clear, please?
Thanks

For Concordia, Middle 80% range GMAT scores: 580-690

This means the if you have 100 students accepted and sorted with their GMAT scores, the top 10th guy will have a score of 690 and the 90th position holder will have 580.

This middle 80 percent score looks well padded and can be considered to be the best still in the game measure with respect to your GMAT score. Funny things still happen.

thanks again for your response. So are you saying that 470 gmat score is still in the game measure? Because I spoke with them and the Concordia MBA people told me that no. I have to have at least 580. It is fine. I will get that score. I am not looking for 700+. What I am asking, lets say, next time, I score 560. Should I write again to get extra 30 points or go with the application with 11 years of impressive work?

Its a question which I would love to answer.

Since, you have not appeared yet so, if you get less than 580-> reappear.

salary wise better than a lot of bschools in canada. Good for students with finance and strategy in mind. Profiles offered are good.
