Hi,

After I look at the wrong answers in any practise test, I find that I can come to the right answer without looking at the explanation for about 40% of the problems (especially in verbal). Which means (I guess) I know the fundamentals but can't seem to get it right under time pressure.

Please suggest remedies..!

First let me know where the wrong answers appear.

But check out our full potential modalities. We're giving a FREE webinar on Tuesday, 9 pm EDT, for the MCAT, but my part on positive mindset will be relative to your plight. There is also a free download of the webinar here: testprepny.com

Bottom line is there are many thing syou can do about this, but I'd first need to know when it happens, so we can get some behavior modification protocols in place so you can let out your inner GMAT rockstar.

Bara,

Thanks for your reply.

My wrong answers appear mostly in Quant and SC. Especially DS more than problem solving in Quant.

To be more specific -
For PS: Under the pressure of time I tend to do more calculations in my head and dont write down the steps on scrap paper.

In DS I forget to test fractions or negative numbers in inequalities or similar types of equations.

In SC: I spot some errors / splits but fail to spot some other issues.

I can spot these errors when I am reviewing my answers without time pressure. Please advice.

Regards,

Amol
