Hi,

I have modified the original Question.

Germany is the only country where more benefits are given to the people over the age of thirty-five than under it.

a. than
b. than given
c. than are
d. than there have been
e. than have been.

OA is A . Can you suggest why ?

IMO:A with POE, other choices does not fit! A is the best among the choices!!

IMO Aas well. However, this is due to POE. The best would have been:--

than those who are under this age
