Gunjan, A has a problem..You can not say what does "it" refer to. It may be physical or the mental level...

i thought here as means of would be appropriated i just mixed up the meaning of these 2 idioms
by the way
X as a means of Y = X is a type of Y
X as a means to Y = x is a method to achieve y
by the means of = using
