front, side, and bottom

The front, side, and bottom faces of a rectangular solid have areas of 24 square centimeters, 8 square centimeters, and 3square centimeters, respectively. What is the volume of the solid, in cubic centimeters?
(A) 24
(B) 96
(C) 192
(D) 288
(E) 576

a*b=24
b*c=8
a*c=3
(a*b*c)^2 = 24*8*3
volume = a*b*c = root(24*24) = 24
IMO A

Alternatively you could figure out that the sides are 1, 3, and 8, and find the volume that way.
