Do job ex required while applying to top Business school

Hello Mam,
I want to enquire about whether the top business schools ask for job experience & how much...??
If Yes, which kind of job Experience they require...??

I am an Under Grad passed student and prepairing for GMAT. I had done my family business for 2 years, can i include it as a Job Experience?? I had not been paid for it as it was my family business.

Dear Shray,

I encourage you to spend some time researching the MBA degree and the MBA admissions process. The website, www.mba.com, is a great place to start as it has some resources on what an MBA is, what MBAs do, and MBA programs, in addition to being the place to sign up for your GMAT. While not all MBA programs require full-time, professional experience after you earn a bachelor's degree, most programs do prefer applicants to have worked at least 2 years after earning a bachelor's degree. The only requirement on the type of experience is that it is full-time and professional in nature. Your work with your family business during college is important and will be considered in your future applications; however, it will not necessarily be included in the "number of years experience" measure as it has not been full-time after your bachelor's degree. Should you take on a full-time, professional role now that you have graduated, then that experience will count towards your quantity.
