I am a computer science graduate from Pakistan's number 1 ranked university but have a relatively low CGPA which is 2.75 but grading criteria is tough at my university , 2.75 is around 74 percent according to the grading criteria printed on transcript . I have 680 in GMAT and 3 years of work experience as a Software engineer in local software industry . I am aiming at mid ranked business schools maybe 50-100 .

HI ,
So it doesn't matter if my university give 3 to only 10,15 students in a batch or 100,150 students . I mean does the strictness of grading criteria in my previous university gives relaxation , as in Pakistan we deal in some mixture of percentages and GPAs .

Talking about young leader i have been vice president of largest student run society of Pakistan which holds international software exhibitions and competitions and we have sponsers worth 40,50 lac rupees . I have been a consistent part of almost all the student bodies at my university ( this is what made me score low gpa because we have events every fall semester and through out my univ fall semesters were not good ) , secondly i had to work in my business when my father lost his eye sight untill stuff got normal.

And if i get very specific i am asking for univerisites like NJIT , CCNY , PACE , ROTMAN , RUTGERS , Rowan , Rider , penn state . My concentration is the states of newjersey , newyork , penn , delware , maryland mainly because of my family and friends in these areas . Can you pin some universities which i shall aim with a 2.7 GPA . And what shall my GMAT be for these universities as i see their GMAT averages to be even below 600 . And i have strong recommendations from some research work i have done with good professors . I shall be very thankful for another reply and thanks a lot for replying :)
