Does LSAT material really help for CR ?

by amit.phatak » Tue Aug 23, 2011 12:10 pm
Hi,

I have been hearing about the LSAT material. Many posts contain reference to such material.
Can someone please comment on the usefulness of LSAT material for tackling advanced CR problems and/or for practice ?
If it is really useful, can you please name the appropriate books to refer to?

Hi,

LSAT CR's are more time consuming and tougher compared to GMAT CR's
I would suggest you not to start CR preparation for GMAT using LSAT materials.
However if one is comfortable with GMAT CR, then he/she can give a try with LSAT CR materials.

This is purely my opinion :)

I agree...I think we should keep the end goal in sight always...We have to crack GMAT verbal...So lets focus on the official material from GMAT itself...Why to unnecessarily practice using more difficult books/course...

BTW origin of the word "thank"
- from Old English thancian;
- akin to Old English thanc gratitude

Thanks for your comments !

I agree that we need to focus on GMAT CRs. But I just wanted to get some good books for additional questions to solve and for additional knowledge.

Please comment if you can suggest any good book for CR apart from OG and Verbal Review.
