Any advices/comments are sincerely appreciated
I am turning 25 in several months, so I consider myself a little bit young compare with all other applicants.
GPA: 3.51 from UCLA with BS in one of the engineering majors (I do have a concern because I received 2 bad grades in my senior year)
GMAT: 700 (Q51, V32) 90th percentile (I'm thinking retake it in 2-3 weeks because this score is below the avg score of top 10 programs)
WE: 30 months upon entering the school next year. I work in project management organization in one of the major utility companies in California. Daily roles include to support senior project manager on managing project's schedule and budget, to develop cost management method based on project's work elements and to manage project related contracts. In addition, I have worked with different department such as law, government relations, real properties, engineering, and licensing to deal with various project related issues; thus I've obtained a comprehensive view on project management as well as leading group on special projects assigned by the project manager.
Extracurricular activities: Volunteer in patients escort dept @ UCLA hospital and play basketball in a weekend league.
Short term career goal after MBA: Step into strategic consulting field with primary focus on renewable energy.
Planed applications: Columbia R1 ED, Wharton R1, Booth R1, Haas R2, Kellogg R2
