Work Profile
5 years plus experience currently in the Indian Internet Space.
I head a Business Unit for my current company where I report directly to the CEO.
1 year of my professional life has been as an entrepreneur.

Education
2 year Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication
3 year Bachelor of Science
Academic scores are average at best

My Post MBA goal: To get into a consulting role.
Long term goal: To be an entrepreneur.

You don't go into a lot of detail about your WE, but your profile does seem to contain the core essentials from which you should be able to build a strong application. The key will be standing out in and amongst a very crowded applicant pool (Indian technology field). Ask yourself what you offer above and beyond the more typical applicant with a similar background, what differentiates your experience? Remember that b-schools are looking for remarkable achievements, and team-driven challenges where you have demonstrated leadership,innovation and maturity. Also if you really want to go to school in the US, an H1B visa helps, as it takes some of the risk off the table for b-schools by showing you can get a job easily when you graduate.
