Got beat again. 650 (47V, 34V)

Thank you guys and BTG. Also Thank you Ron for your excellent advice and coaching in the MGMAt study halls.
I did watch every one of your recorded sessions.

This was my attempt. First attempt 570 (47Q,23V)

this time 650(47Q,34V).

I think i am burnt out now and done. The crazy part is the first time i did only 30 questions in quant and the time ran out. This time i was done before time but the questions were some what easier than last time. I was hoping to get a rocking score in verbal. The last two MGMAT tests were 720 and 740 with 50 and 51 in Quant. So my only first hand learning from the experience is the first 10 questions in Quant decide your score (yes this can be challenged in many ways but this comes from a first hand experience).

ah well, I am in indian male (29yrs) I.T. 8+ yrs exp in E-commerce. What schools do u think i have a good shot at.

Any help would be appreciated.

650 is not a bad score and an 80 point improvement is more than great!!
So, pat yourself on the back.

Regarding schools, you need to do your own research. See what schools match your long term goal requirements. Also look at admission factors such as GMAT, your fit for the school, community work, your unique experiences and impt things (prod mgmt experience, leadership) etc.

Take some ranking, usnews for e.g. and go through the list of schools to see where you would like to work, which school does well in your short/long term goals etc and whether your GMAT score is above their mean / median. If yes, and if you have strong factors , you still have a shot at a (very) good school.
Vineesh,
Just telling you what I know and think. I am not the expert. :)

Hi la56,
Nice to know that your score jumped 80 points. Congrats!
I see that you have 9 yrs of experience, so I guess you can be a strong candidate even in schools where median score is 670.
However , I would suggest you to give one extra month and take GMAT again. As you have recently given the test, you may be knowing in what areas you stumbled. Everything is fresh in your mind, so why not to give a last shot and live your dream? If you have come till 650(80 points-that's huge), I don't see a reason why you can't make it to 690s or even 700s. Think about it!
Smack is Back ...
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

650 is not bad, considering your level of experience. You should consider the executive mba programs.
