Please Refer to Q 51
How could the answer be C ?
If the benefits that the investments in service are not tangible then how shall we decide whether 1 investment will bring more benefit than another . The benefits are such as Increased Revenue,Decreased cost . Investments will have to be weighed as in which investment will result in maximum cost reduction and bring in maximum revenues.
Same is the case with Investments in production . If investments dont bring benefits that can be measured , thenthe investments cant be measured against one another .

To answer your first question - C is correct becuase of the language in the passage. The passage says that investments LIKE those of production and distribution must be balanced .... thus these things are alike in the way in which they are judged and that is on the same basis. The other answers have attractive words that appear in the question but do not relate to how the two things are alike.

The key in reading comp is to be able to find support for your answer in the body of the passage - where do you find support for B? can you explain your reasoning?

In B, Pitfalls of choosing to invest in service could relate to the inability to gain an improvement in market position / competitive advantage despite investing in service Level Improvement by the Bank .

Hi,

I too feel the answer to first question must be B. let me explain the reason behind it
2nd sentence says"Investment in service...must be balanced....tangible". So isnt the author trying to say... Investment in service needs to analyzed bec it may not always increase business.
