Hi guys,
So in the 5 days leading up to my GMAT, I scored 730-740 on my GMATPrep, and other various tests. Usually math was my strength. However, I just took it and had a major brainfreeze. I totally stalled on the math part, and was only "%below: 81" and ~95th% on verbal. Combined 710.
Ok, I'm not crying, this isn't bad, but I just feel bad for scoring 740 on my practice tests, and I really need a strong GMAT to overcome a 3.0 GPA. I want to go to Columbia or any school equally as competitive. I work at Goldman Sachs and have outstanding references.
Without too much fluff: is retaking the test worth it? If I do worse the second time (unlikely), will schools that really say "we take the highest GMAT"... reaaaallly take the highest gmat?
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
PZ
