So the maintenance people have to immediately work in support to rectify the fault. such situations demand a great team work on part of the meployees. Second, in large organizations, the employees have different unique competencies. But to execute a project efficiently, varied skills are needed which are not present in a single person. Hence employees have to work in teams and develop the best possible solution by contributing with their different skills. For example a software development team has different individuals specialing in programming, debugging, testing, and making algorithm. All of them are needed to suuceessfully make a software.
On the other hand, some may argue that an indiviual's skills are best utilizes when works independently but to develop complex solutions and in processes where multiple tasks have to be executed at the same time, more employees are needed to work in a team. Moreover, an independent atmosphere can also be created in a team to harness an individual's skills effectively.
