Hi Venu,

Please understand that as this is a forum, you need to have some patience to get answers to your queries. A forum is built by people who take time out of their busy schedules to help. Please value their time by not repeatedly posting the same thing. It can get very annoying to find the same post in thread after thread. I've deleted your other thread as it was redundant.

Most, if not all schools will require a GMAT score. So yes, you will in all probability need to take the GMAT. However, given your work-ex your score requirement combined with the fact that you are going for an E-MBA means that you will probably need to get a lower score than the 700+ you see flying around.

As for the school, there are lots of parameters that go into selecting a school and you havent given much information.

In Candada, Ivey has a fantastic 1yr MBA program. You might want to look into that.

Dear Venu:

Neo2000 gave you some good advice; thank you Neo2000! I thought I would throw in my two cents as well. Whether or not the GMAT is required varies by MBA for Executives (EMBA) programs. You would need to look at the requirements for each program you are considering.

As for Canadian schools, I really cannot say I recommend one over another. I think there are several strong programs in Canada. I would encourage you to visit the sticky on school selection for tips on evaluating programs. Likewise, you should think about curriculum and location (Vancouver vs. Toronto, etc) to make sure you will maximize your experience. In addition to this site, you could try mba.com and princetonreview.com for school information.

Good luck!
