TOEFL sectional requirements for HBS?

Hello,

I have passed TOEFL iBT recently with the resulting score of 112. Formally it is higher than the score required by HBS (109), but I have 24 points in Speaking section (and 29-30 in other sections). Does HBS have any sectional requirements for TOEFL, such as, for example, at least 25 in each section? Can it decrease my chances for admission? I need to decide whether to retake the exam.

Dear Valery,

I am not aware of a specific minimum on each section, just a total score minimum. However, that doesn't mean there isn't a sectional minimum. I would encourage you to contact HBS directly on the TOEFL requirements. If there is a minimum required, not preferred but required, then it is possible you will need to retake.
