Age: I will be 30 at the time of application in December as well as when MBA classes start. I will be close to 31 when classes start at 30 years and 10 months.

GMAT - 730
GPA - 2.87 from a top 10 engineering program
Exp - 7-8 years

Is my age a big issue?
What schools should I consider?
INSEAD, Emroy, IU (Kelley) - Are these doable at my age or am I simply too old?

Dear deeptideepti,

Your age and amount of experience are not a huge issue. While you are on the higher end of the range for a traditional full-time program, you are not out of range. The key is to convey why you want to do the full-time program effectively. Are you looking to make a significant career change so want the opportunity to do an internship to redirect your career? are you wanting the full-time experience? In terms of schools, you want to consider any school that you feel is a good match for your career goals and your expectations of a program. INSEAD, Emory and IU are all fabulous and recognized programs. The question you need to answer is if they have the curriculum and resources that make sense for your career goals and you.

Good luck,
Lisa
