Hi everyone,

Just took the GMAT last week and got a 710. I am somewhat disappointed with my verbal score of 39 because I had been scoring in the 40s on most practice exams.

Would it at all be worth it or does it matter at all to retake the exam and try to increase my score to a 730? I will most likely apply to schools like HBS or Chicago in 2 to 3 years.

Thanks for any help or advice,

I really appreciate it

Retaking the GMAT would be useless if you dont improve the score by atleast 50 points. So if you are confident that you will achieve 760, go ahead if you feel. Else leave it.

710 is a very good score. Wont be much of a value addition if you do retake it. Advice you to work on the other aspects of you application instead.
