by reyanshul » Fri May 27, 2011 12:43 am
Hi Stacy,

I am Anshul Joshi from India looking for an admit in Jan 2012 intake of INSEAD

I have a 680 GMAT score and 118 TOEFL ibt score

I have a masters in Human Resources and Graduate in Computers with 80%+ thoughout

I have total work exp of 5 yr+ at managerial levels in companies like Citibank, Merck.

Can you please advise if I will be able to make a strong candidature given the fact that the GMAT score is less than 700(which is the average at INSEAD)

Hi reyanshul,

You can still be accepted even with a GMAT score 20 points below the average. Business schools are going to want to see a history of progression in your career, leadership experience, and the potential for you to make an impact in the future. These can be shown through your personal essays and letters of recommendation.

How was your undergraduate GPA?

Hope this was of help.

Cheers,

Conrad and the Stacy Blackman Team
