Strategy for last week?

by thisisbrianly » Tue Mar 25, 2008 5:52 pm
My GMAT exam is coming up 8 days from now, and I'd like to ask what the best strategy for the last week is!

I've gone through the OG11 very extensively and understand most concepts well. There are very few questions in the Quant portion that I can't complete (given enough time!) and I feel pretty confident with the Verbal sections.

I feel like I'm running out of material, but I'm planning on going over all problems that I got wrong in OG11. What other things should I be doing?

Thanks!

What day is your test? Mine is next Thursday, April 3, so it sounds like we're on a similar schedule.

I feel like I've run out of material as well (and I bought pretty much every study resource out there!). I am spending the next couple of days reading through the review section of 800score.com. I wasn't happy with their online practice tests, but I am really liking their review material (glad I remembered to go back out to the site and look around). For example, they have an extensive section on permutations and combinations, and they explain it in such a way that it actually makes sense. Lots of good last minute tips on that site as well.

I also want to review all of the essay questions. Since the full list is available online, I want to read through them all so none of them freak me out on test day.

I'll probably take one more online practice test this weekend, and then that's it ... just light review until next Thursday. I won't be studying at all the day before the test.

Good luck!!

You don't mention taking practice tests...you have been taking tests, right, not just going practice questions?

Please see my post here:

The main idea is not to learn new stuff and try to overwhelm yourself by doing more and more problems, learning more and more material, but instead to reinforce what you've learned.
