Hi,
Although I wouldn't suggest you to do 1000SC, it is your choice. I don't think explanations are available. Only answer key is available within the document itself.

I agree with Frankenstein. I have seen alot of errors in 1000 SC questions. In fact there was a time when I was doing 1000 SC and I got to confused with some of the incorrect questions that it really brought my morale way down. Then I read some of the explanations of the instructors here - Ron & Brian, and realized the deficiency of this document. :)

Yes, some of the questions are from GMAT prep, but why to get those questions from this untrusted document. Get it from GMAT Prep software itself. :)
