K does not = 0, 1 or -1. Is 1/k > 0?

1) 1/k-1 > 0

2) 1/k+1 > 0

I see that 1 is sufficient but I am not understanding how 2 is also sufficient (the answer is D).

Can you tell the source which gave D as the answer?
For this question, answer should be A.
If at all it is mentioned that k is an integer, then the answer is D
