Is it advisable to write the recommendation essay on our own?
Or should I make my recommender to write it.

What can I do if he is not liking to write the essay but he likes to recommend me?

Believe it or not, adcoms can tell when applicants write the recommendations themselves. That alone can get your rejected (it's unethical).

It's fine to discuss the recommendation with the person who will be recommending you, and even brainstorm ideas that he could write about in answering the questions. But it's pretty important that you do not write it.

But can i just give the ideas and make others or my friends write for me in the name of recommender.
My problem is my recommender is not willing to write any essays but he likes to recommend me.

We know that more than 50% of recommenders dont have time to write the complete recommendation. So, they ask the applicants to themselves write it.

But beware... dont write it yourself. B schools can easily track whether the applicant has himself /herself writen the recos but many ways e.g. writing style, submissions from same IP and very sweet looking recos.

So, push your recommenders to write the recommendations. You can sit with them and give them inputs of they are writing the reco for the first time.
