or

2.We have one in a million chances to win the World Cup.

one chance in a million is the correct usage

a) is correct (we have one chance in a million of winning the world Cup)
b) we have one in a million chances to win the world cup. incorrect

Hi,
On first look I thought B is correct. But, I think 'one in a million chances' and 'one chance in a million' are both correct. Either of them should be followed by 'of verb+ing'.
Hence A

The source says A is correct, but I couldn't find any reason against B.

Hi,
As I have posted earlier, the use of 'to+verb' instead of 'of+verb-ing' makes B incorrect.
It would be great if any experts can comment on this.
