During a 1 day sale,a store sold each sweater of certain type for 30 $ more than store cost to purchae ewach swetr.how many of dese swtrs were sold during sale?

my doubt is we do not know the original cost then 50% grtr can b of any number and dat will decide total revenue and hence number sold... how is den both d rite ans

From 2) Let the cost be X. The sweater is sold for 50% more. the sale price X+ 0.5X =1.5X

The profit is $30 (given in Q)
Profit =1.5X-o.5x=0.5X--> $30
so X is 60
Which means sale price of 1 sweater is 1.5X60 = $90
From 1) total revenue =$270

Number of sweaters = 270/90 =3
