Knewton inference 10

by itsmebharat » Wed Jun 01, 2011 11:30 pm
Homeowners between the ages of 35 and 44 are more likely to buy computers that use state of the art technology than are members of any other demographic group. Therefore, the belief that people between the ages of 18 and 25 understand technologically advanced computers better than those 35 and above must be false.

Which of the following is an assumption on which the argument relies?

A.People who buy technology also understand it.
B.It is not true that people between the ages of 18 and 25 understand technologically advanced computers better than those 35 and above.
C.People between the ages of 18 and 25 are more technologically savvy than those aged 35 and above.
D.Homeowners between the ages of 35 and 44 are more likely to buy technologically advanced computers.
E.Homeowners are more likely to own computers than non-homeowners are.
