Havard 2+2 Early Round versus 1st Round

by liangjian.wu » Tue May 31, 2011 12:33 am
Hello,

I am applying to the Harvard 2+2 Program this year and I was wondering if anyone can provide any insight on whether it is better to apply to the Early Round (July Admissions) versus the Round 1? What is the difference where are the chances higher, holding all else equal?

Hi,

Applying early always help. B schools know that if you are applying in early cycles then that school is one of your first choices & hence they also prefer you.

On the contrary applying in Round 3/4 can give the B school a feeling that you have applied there after getting rejected from other B schools.

B schools also give more offers in initial rounds.

This is generally the case with most B schools.

Cheers
