What do people that work at smaller firms do to address the leadership issue in their MBA applications? I am an investment analyst at a fairly large non-profit foundation. The staff is lean, and I am the youngest member on the team. The people above me all have multiple decades of experience in investing, so I am not "leading" anybody in the strictest sense of the word. I have certainly taken point on some substantial projects, but I am not "motivating X people to do X with X results." Has anyone else been in a situation like this (boutique or smaller firm with nobody underneath)?
