Practice Tests vs. Practice Exercises

I am going to be taking my GMAT for the 2nd time in about 2 1/2 weeks. I have been studying hard the past month and have steadily improved, especially in quant. I am using the Kaplan Online Course, the OG11, and OG Quant.

The problem I am having is when I take a practice test through Kaplan or the GMAT Prep software- I do terribly! I average about 80%+ correct on exercises I do in OG and OG Quant. Has anyone experienced this? Any advice?

FYI: First time, I got a 620 (39V/37Q).

Thanks!!

Definitely dig into the old posts in this forum about this topic. The best indicator of your actual GMAT performance is GMATPrep. Kaplan practice tests tend to skew your score down.
