Interview call from ESADE for Full time MBA starting 2011

Hello Friends,

Received an interview call from ESADE last night. No doubt, I was absolutely delighted.

I have come to know that they may use a case study interview method, besides the general interview questions. The case method is not common for telephonic interviews, but only for the on-campus interviews.

Has anybody already faced such an interview for admission to ESADE? If yes, then I would like to get an overview on how it is conducted. How much time is allotted for preparation? I have heard that we need to do a presentation on the topic. Is it allowed to use a laptop/internet? What kind of topics do ESADE use for candidates with technical background? What do they expect the candidate to deliver?

I am an IT guy with experience in banking domain. Any suggestion on how to prepare for the case study interview will be of great help.

Also, please share similar experiences for any other B school.

Hi.

I had a telephone interview with ESADE and there was no case study.
You had the usual questions, that are common to bschool interviews and that you can find on the internet

You seem to be the only one in the forum replying to my posts about ESADE
Did they tell you by when they will confirm your acceptance?

Anyways, my query is regarding the on campus face-to-face interview, which may be a bit different from a telephonic one. Just curious to know about the proceedings. Are you planning to visit ESADE sometime next year? If you know anybody who has faced an interview on an ESADE Open Day, kindly let me know.

I thought "Interview call" meant you had a telephonic interview...

Sorry, but I don't know how the face-to-face interviews are conducted.
Info if you were admitted (or not) takes approx. one week. I was admitted, will not go there but to Cambridge or Oxford.

Don't be nervous. Just be yourself and face the interviewer with confidence. I have my interview scheduled on 28th.
