Hi guys,

I'm looking out for Universities in the USA, that are still open for September 2011. I know I am very late, but there were some personal issues I had to take care of, before I could apply.

I've got a GMAT of 680 (2nd attempt), and 2 and a half years' post graduation experience in a bank. I have completed my undergraduate degree from the University of London, in 2008.
I am an Indian, and as such, would like to know if there are any Universities/areas within the USA that would fit me better.
I'm looking at the second tier of schools, since the first tier have pretty much run out of their deadlines. Any help right now would be appreciated, since I don't have a lot of time on my hands.

I can't think of any schools in the US that are better than others for indian students. Almost all MBA programs are very international, so in that regard I would assume that you'll fit in fine wherever.

It doesn't sound like you have any criteria for your selection other than your ethnicity and your timing. If that's truly the case, then I would flip open the FT business school rankings and go down the list looking for schools whose deadlines haven't closed out yet.

That said, I think there is a more satisfying option which is to wait until next year, do plenty of research, and apply R1 when you have had some time to really think about it and develop a more sophisticated list of criteria for making your selection.

It's much easier to get accepted at a b-school that truly is a great match for your interests. If you don't know what those are, then you're searching in the dark.
