2)y is either odd or negative.. also not sufficient..!!
combining 1 and 2 as we know y^3≥0, therefore y cannot be negative therefore possible value of y is either 0 or +positive number, but as per 2 y is either odd or negative, hence y cannot be zero, therefore only possible values of y are +ve odd numbers hence C
