Bachelors from Cornell University - May 2004. GPA - 2.8 (low). Took 5 years to graduate.
Masters from a local university part-time - May 2011. I took 5 years to complete this masters part-time while working full-time. GPA - 3.7.
Years of experince - 7
Roles in the past 7 years - Software Engineer, Team Lead, Customer Support Engineer
GMAT score - 730
Age at the time of acceptane will be 29/30. Is this too old?
Naitonality - India
Gender - Female

Target Schools - Any target schools to get into I-Banking or Management consulting. Duke (Fuqua), Indiana University (Kelley), Ross MBA (Michigan).
My work experience is decently strong and I know I will get good recommendations. I am concerned about my academic past. I have a low undergraduate GPA of 2.8 and a master's GPA of 3.7. However, I took 5 years to complete with my Master's program as I took classes on and off. Usually a good Master's GPA can overcome a lousy undergraduate GPA. But, in my case, I took 5 years to complete the Master's. Does that look negative and bad?

Am I aiming too high?

Hi Deepti,

We don't think that you are aiming high. Yes the schools you have chosen e.g. Duke and Ross can't be called definitely safe but you can target then. Profile and GMAT are both good.

You low GPA can also be compensated by decent GMAT score. If asked about the time you took for masters completion you can bring in other aspects like work schedule or you trying your hand at some venture etc which you felt gave you good learning and practical exposure.
