I had a friend who had an admit from the UCSD MBA program. Initially she was quite excited about getting an admit from there, but later she decided to not join the program because 1) She didn't get any scholarship and given the very high fee of the program, she didn't want to spend a fortune 2) The program is very new.I guess only 1-2 batches have graduated till now .So you don't have many networking opportunities which you'd otherwise have in a business school 3) It's still almost an unknown program.People hardly still know about the program.

However, these were her considerations and yours maybe absolutely different,so you may want to weigh your options accordingly.

Thanks.
I was asking for my brother. I think he has a 66% scholarship offer.

I think you guys are talking about two different schools. UCSD is University of California, San Diego while USD is University of San Diego.
If you won't invest in yourself, why would anybody wants to invest in you?
