Hello,

I'm a 26 years old (will be 27 when the MBA program starts) , Israeli studying in France towards a B.A in Psychology. Currently I'm in the second year of the degree (out of three years).

My full-time work experience is 4 years mandatory army service where I have had extensive management experience, in addition, I work full-time (about 40 hours a week) in a management position for an Airline company AND studying for my B.A in the same time.

This results in 7 years of full-time work experience but in the same time it means that I'll apply directly after my B.A and will have no post-graduation experience at all.

Do you think that it will be a concern, or even a deal-breaker for admissions in one of Europe's top-10 MBA programs?

Thanks a lot

Dear mleviko:

Military experience, generally speaking, is counted as full-time work experience. While you have worked full-time during school, admissions-reporting standards for many of the rankings publications specify that work experience must be professional level after an undergraduate degree has been awarded. I would suggest talking to the admissions staff at the EU schools on your list to see how you should report your work experience.

Good luck!
