Back on the Horse!

So after a week of spring break (Which I decided it would be most beneficial to dedicate to guess what??? The GMAT!) The week to follow spring break has been extremely busy between school (Senior Year Hospitality Management Major), Work, Working Out and Homework. I have had to throw my studies on the back burner:( I have been doing extremely well in keeping up with my studies but unfortunately for the past three to four days I have only been able to get in an hour to two a day (if lucky).

So here we go how should I start back up the HARDCORE (My way of saying efficient, and effiective studying) mode? Going all out to get that Score! Should I recap? Pickup where I left off? Roll through some flashcards? Really what I should be asking is: What would BTG do?

Also Anyone on BTG know anything about SMU Texas? I know its profile (rank, cost, acceptance, w.e. GMAT, etc.)
Just wondering if anyone has an stories they would like to share.

Any help would be great, and do not be shy! please PROVIDE!

I have been doing extremely well in keeping up with my studies but unfortunately for the past three to four days I have only been able to get in an hour to two a day (if lucky).

Not bad,mate! 1-2 hours a day is good as long as you're able to be consistent. What is important is not how much you're studying but what(and how) you're studying. Ideally should be spending not more than 2 hours/day on the weekdays and around 5 hours/day on the weekend with a one day off per week from studies.

You haven't given any details of what you did earlier, so difficult to comment what is the right way.

I had a couple of friends who have had got admits from COX(the MBA program at SMU) with huge amount of scholarships. One of my friends had a 720, around 5 years of work experience and landed up with a $60k scholarship. Similar was the case with another one. Obviously, their essays and recos were stellar but at least it indicates that landing up with those kind of astronomical scholarships is achievable at COX. When you get that kind of scholarship, you are relieved from the huge burden of MBA loans. On the flipside, COX is a more of a regional school and very few people outside Texas ,and in fact, Dallas, know about it. So if you're looking for job post MBA in Dallas, then Cox maybe a good choice,otherwise if you're looking for a better brand name, you may wanna consider more reputed schools while keeping COX as the backup.
