I plan to give my GMAT in first week of April and apply at part time program at Tepper School of Business(Pittsburgh) and NYU Stern.

Tepper has a deadline of April 25 and Stern has a deadline of May 15. Considering my preparation, i hope to get a score in the range of 600-650. I know getting into Stern with this score and my background(Indian Male IT) will be difficult. May be i have some chance @Tepper.
Experts, please correct me if i am wrong.

Considering the fact that i will give my GMAT in first week of April and deadline for Tepper is on 25th April, can experts please advice on how/where should i start my application work. I do not mind seeking some professional help, hence can some one please advice on some experts who expertise into part time programs @Stern and @Tepper.

Many thanks in advance for your inputs.

Hi

I think you should get started on your application asap and get your essays in place because trying to finalize them in the 2 weeks after your GMAT for Tepper will not enable you to give it your best especially since you are more likely to make it to Tepper.

Highlight your strengths and unique aspects of your profile/work ex/ideas for the future. There are alot of Indian IT students that apply, so you need to make yourself stand out.

Write in to us if you need any help.

Good luck!

Hi msingh,

The first thing you need to do is go to the school websites and start the application process. Register, open up the application, and start to figure out what they want to know from you. These forms are extensive and they take a lot of time to fill out. Check out my recent blog post with how to fill out MBA application forms and also my three rules for filling out MBA application forms.

Of course it's essential that you start writing your essays. Don't wait another day! Print out all the essay questions and hang 'm on the wall somewhere, so that you can start to brainstorm about possible angles immediately.

If you need any help, please feel free to contact me.

Good luck!
