I am an MBA aspirant. In this email I am giving a brief description about
my background. If you can evaluate same, it will be great help.

I did my schooling from Central Board of Secondary Education. I cleared my engineering entrance examination the same year i appeared for 10+2. I scored 266 rank among 1 lakh candidated appeared for the exam. However the GPA I scored in my undergrad is average only, but I excelled in extracurricular activities.

After passing out from college, I got job in HONDA Motors, but since the
profile offered was not good enough, I planned for my Post graduation. I
did my post graduation from Indian Institute Of Science, its one among the premier institute of country and globally in research. There also I was
active in presentation and associated with various student body. I scored
99.09 percentile in the GATE entrance examination to get into this
institute.

From campus placement I got job in Engineering service sector company, here my job profile is to understand the requirement from customers and
convert requirement into software tools, My job require interaction with
lot of other groups within and outside organization. I worked for
GE and now I am working on pilot project for P&G automation.

Sir, My GMAT score is 610 and i am planning to take it again , but my GPA
is 6.6/10 in batchlor's and 5.8/8 in master, Its less as i have put enough effort in extracurriculars as well.

Can you suggest me the level of GMAT score i need to compensate same

Dear saccpp:

The GMAT score you would need to be considered by a MBA program varies based on the school you are applying to, as in a top 10 private US university versus a top 50 public US university. Likewise, the GMAT score necessary for a MBA program in the EU or Asia would be different. I suggest you do some resarch into your schools of interest to determine what their average GMAT score is and use that as a threshold for where your GMAT score should be.

Good luck!
