HELP: Need Suggestions for improvement from 630 onwards...

Hi GMATcrackers,

Recently gave two tests of MGMT(640 & 630).

On analysis of 1 test,
Quant percentile was 79%(46). Realized that numbers & P&C needs improvement.
While verbal was 78% as on 36th question then it went off to 62%(31) with time out on 37th question. Did the score drop because of not attempting the questions?

Although the major problem I faced is the time management, I would really like to ask for any suggestions/recommendations for improving my score. I'm targeting 700-730 score.
What should I look for? Any tests? Currently practicing 1000 series!

Plus, what could be GMAT score, if the percentile of both verbal & quant remains around 80%? OR rather what could be score required for verbal & quant for 720-730 GMAT score ?

I recommend you check out the "I Just Beat the GMAT" stories elsewhere on the board - lots of great inspiring stories of how students moved from the 600's to the 700's and on to a perfect score!

I recommend you start to keep an Error Log to track your progress:

You might want to take a break from the timed tests and re-evaluate your strategies for each Q. type. Sometimes taking the pressure off for a bit can help you re-build your familiarity with the content and gain more mastery!

How do you evaluate 1000-series SCs,CRs as practice material for scoring 700+? Do you have anything else to recommend specifically for SCs?
