Hello Experts and friends

I know you might have answered this query umpteen number of times but i m in some dilemma as regard to my interviews,,,

if i want to enter a hospital sector in a managerial role after doing general MBA what specific roles can i have...and how is general MBA better than a Masters in Hospital Admin if i want to enter a tertiary care superspeciality hospital

Your best bet to understand these issues would be to contact someone directly involved in hospital administration. You might try to get in contact with alums of the programs to which you are applying. Look for student blogs in healthcare programs. Those who are going through the interview process right now would be a great resource. Also the placement departments for the schools you are considering should know what positions their grads get hired for. FInally, if you know someone currently working in hospital administration interview that individual. Ask for a short (15 minute) informational interview - even a phone conversation could be a great help.

Your best advice will be from people who are already there, not from other aspirants. Good luck,
