3) What is m+n?
a. 3
b. 4
c. 5
d. 6
e. 7

+ x y z
4 1 -5 m
e 7 n 10
f 2 -4 5


I got M =0 but not N


2) (-1)k+1(½k). T is the sum of the first 10 k, is t
a. > 2
b. between 1 and 2
c. between ½ and 1
d. between ¼ and ½
e. < ¼

Solution to first question:
Now 4+x=1.
Or x = -3.
4+y = -5.
Or y = -9.
Also, 4 + z = m.
e+x= 7.
Or e-3=7.
Or e = 10.
Now e+z=10.
Or z = 0.
Or m = 4.
Now, e+y = n.
Or n = 10-9 = 1.
Or m+n=5.
