570 oh no

gmatprep by ets software and got a 570 (quant 30 Verbal 3Cool. This is horrible need to get my deserved 700. I believe that I am very close actually. I was very rusty on math and never reviewed or touched the math at all for 4 months. I finally have a good handle of verbal but the transition to the computer completely killed my reading comprehension skills. I was getting perfect scores on the og books until on the screen. secondly I had to guess on the last 7-10 on both sections. Going too slow but will speed up. If I can learn how to deal with reading comprehension on the screen I will probably have verbal in my pocket. I need to focus on the math now. I had decent scores before on math like a quant 44 but I must have gotten a bit rusty.

need help of strategy from all the pros. HELP!

I remember many questions to be the exact same as from the OG books and this scares me even more because the actual gmat is all new questions. WIth my 570 can I get to my 700.

I do know of 1 weakness which is to calm down to get the answers right . secondly I need to learn how to do RC on the screen because I have SC and CR in my pocket. I just need to get a better scores on quant. Im tired and Im frusturated. How close am I to my 700. I will take 10 more exams before this all ends. I just neeeeed a 700.

Why do you feel like you need a 700? Keep in mind that the GMAT is just one element that admissions committees consider in your candidacy. I've heard of people with GMATs in the 500s still getting accepted to Harvard.

That being said--I'd like to remind you that it's not quantity, but quality of prep that matters. Taking 10 practice tests won't necessarily make you better prepared for the exam. Be smart about how you approach your practice tests, and be methodical and patient. Check out this post if you haven't already: https://www.beatthegmat.com/gmat-practic ... s-t68.html

Well at this point I cant really settle for the 500's also I allloted more time, double actually. I will do your grid and I have been keeping one before. I have been printing off my errors actually and keeping a folder on them. Is that good? this way I can go back to the actuall question and look at it as ai please. Plus I like the idea of a mistakes folder that I can focus on. In the analysis of my mistakes I made a sheet that I put into word with all my mistakes. CAn you take a quick look at it so I can have some proffesional advice? ALso I really believe that I am close because I was scoring well on math. ALso on the exam I guessed on the last questions of both verbal and quant. Is that what is dragging me down so bad? Its funny because on verbal I only had 3 mistakes but the last ten were all wrong because I never got to them. Keep in mind please that I will have double time. ALso the quant was killing me on many of the DS questions. ADmittingly, i wasnt that focused either.
