Dear Stacy
Please help Stacy. I am making the decision of my lifetime and planning for a career switch. I am a corporate & securities lawyer in Korea. Working in an one of the magic-circle international law firm for 6 years. The reason that I would like to switch my career is because I wanted to help out and go into my family business. I am 29 years old.
I was undecided to pursue MBA or M. Finance so I took GRE instead of GMAT. I got 780 for quant and 680 for verbal.
I graduated from reputable university in Singapore (72%) and obtained master of laws from one of the Ivy league law school (GPA 3.7). Subsequently, I sit for NY states bar and passed.
I could get good recommendation for my partner and peers.
As for extra curricular activities, over the years, I have immersed myself in pro bono works such as tenant law, estate law, family laws and domestic disputes. I also help established various non-profit organizations.
Do you think that I stand a chance for the top ten business school (i.e Columbia, HBS or Wharton). I would like to pursue my studies in management or in finance.
Best regards,
Thank you.
