Hi All,

Please help in the following D.S question:-

Is the product of all of the elements in Set S negative ?

(1) All of the elements in Set S are negative.
(2) There are 5 negative numbers in Set S.

Answer is C

A: All elem neg, -1, -2, -3 will result in -6, -1, -2 in 2, so not suff
B: 5 nos are negative, what abt other's, if there is 0, it will be 0 not negative, if all other pos, it will be neg, so not suff

combine : all 5 nos are negative, odd no of negative will result in negative

Thank you so much for your reply. I got confused with the second one. Actually i just thought that there are only 5 negative numbers in set S and ignored that there can be other numbers too, which prompted me to select B.
