Made bad decisions

by take2tylenol » Thu Jan 20, 2011 3:54 am
I was terminated in 7/2009 still unemployed, I was under my own false impression That with my title and experience as an assistant warehouse manager that I was capable of getting a job any where or any time, so regretfully I made the decisions to take my time looking for work. As I began looking for work, I saw that I had grossly underestimated how difficult it would be to find work.I have recently applied to Ashworth College in the field of computer management. What would I say or how would I explain this to employers?

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your unemployment situation. Unfortunately, it's not all that uncommon for people to have gaps in employment these days. I would suggest you be honest about your misconception of the job market and your struggle to find a job as quickly as you had hoped. Honesty is always the best policy, especially in applications.

Best,

Stacey
