Hey Guys,

So I signed up for the Manhattan GMAT course but was just wondering, in addition to the course material we cover in class, what, if any, additional studying should I do?

None. They give you plenty of work to do each week.

There's more than enough material from MGMAT to keep you occupied - you will not need more. If you do, you are studying incorrectly.

I used MGMAT exclusively.

If you're taking the Live or Online course, you should be all set in terms of learning material. I think they are the best in terms of learning both math and verbal concepts.

However, for practice material, I would recommend taking on an additional resource. It definitely helps reinforce your learning when you get questions from a slightly different angle than MGMAT or the OG. I used the BTG practice questions as my additional resource.

I agree with the others. MGMAT gives you a lot of homework and materials and you work alot with the Official Guides (they give you the big one, and the two smaller ones for verbal and quant). In fact there were so many resources that I felt overwhelmed for the first two weeks or so. I wound up using MGMAT exclusively because it occupied so much of my time.

Many times the Manhattan material is enough. However, students that are particularly weak on the reading section might need some extra reading passages. GMAC sells 9 old tests that can give you extra practice material.

The old tests cost 25 dollars for 3 and can be found on the GMAC website
