The best thing to do would be to contact the admissions office directly to inquire how they process applications. If it's all electronic stamping, you may indeed be bumped, but they may also have a built in window to account for technological errors or delays. I can't say how it will look to have had all year to submit and then miss the deadline by 8 minutes. There are some hard-noses in every system who will look upon that as either poor planning or an error in judgement. Let's hope you don't have the hard nose dealing with yours!
